Atemi Jitsu is a Japanese martial art that focuses on striking vital points (see Dim Mak) before using throws, joint locks, and bone-breaking to subdue an attacker. It is based on techniques developed thousands of years ago in India and China.

Techniques

Students are taught to evade the attack (never using force against force) and then strike the eyes, groin, or pressure points of the foe, using the shortest movements necessary. Weapons training includes nunchaku, the tanto (knife), and bo (staff).
