Juttejutsu is the Japanese martial art of using the Japanese weapon jutte or jitte. Juttejutsu was used mainly by law enforcement officers during Edo-period to promote non-lethal disarmament and apprehension of criminals who were usually carrying a sword. This martial art teaches its practitioners a kind of self-defence that focuses on nullifying the weapons of an opponent by delivering light damage to his hands.

Today, Juttejutsu is practiced as a training method in various martial arts.
