Philippine Jendo Association (PJA),
The Philippine Jendo Association is a fast rising community dedicated to the advancement and promotion of Jendo Filipino martial arts sports and self-defense founded in 1973 by Grandmaster Jonathan "June" Makiling Abaya in the municipality of Mandaluyong now a city, located in the central part of Luzon island of the Philippines.

 :The Philippine Jendo Association is an organization dedicated to the propagation and advancement of Jendo martial arts. The association was founded in 1973 in Mandaluyong City, Philippines by Jendo founder and originator Grandmaster Jonathan Makiling who among his friends and colleagues in martial arts known as Grandmaster Jonathan "June" Makiling Abaya.:The Philippine Jendo Asssociation and Jendo martial arts was legally recognized and registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission under S.E.C. Regulation no. AÑO96-05844 in September of 1996 as an original Filipino art after passing the screening of the Philippines Sports Commission and of the different National Sports Association of various foreign and Filipino Martial Arts discipline in the Philippines.:The association is presently headed by Guro Teresita I. Biscaro - Abaya of Barangay Highway Hills, in Mandaluyong City.
